Kinematika & Dinamika Teknik

1. Kinematika adalah ilmu yang mempelajari gerakan mesin TANPA memperhitungkan gaya penyebab/akibat gerakan tersebut.

2. Dinamika adalah ilmu yang mempelajari gerakan mesin DENGAN memperhitungkan gaya penyebab/akibat gerakan

3. Mesin adalah gabungan beberapa mekanisme, masing masing mekanisme mempunyai fungsi gerak sendiri, secara bersamaan menghasilkan gerakan mesin. Sebagai contoh, mesin mobil mempunyai beberapa mekanisme seperti mekanisme torak-engkol, mekanisme katup atau mekanisme pengisian bahan bakar dan pembuangan asap, mekanisme pengapian, mekanisme pelumasan, mekanisme pendinginan dll. Mekanisme torak engkol berfungsi mengubah gerak bolak-balik pada torak menjadi gerak berputar pada engkol. Mekanis katup mengatur timing/waktu yang tepat kapan pemasukan bahan baker kedalam ruang silinder dan kapan pembuangan hasil pembakaran dikeluarkan dari dalam silinder. Mekanisme pengapian berfungsi mengatur saat yang tepat penyalaan campuran bahan bakar-udaran dilakukan dst, yang kesemua itu menghasilkan gerakan dari mesin mobil.

4. Mekanisme adalah gabungan beberapa komponen kaku (rigid body), masing-masing komponen mempunyai fungsi gerak sendiri, secara bersamaan menghasilkan gerakan mekanisme. Komponen kaku (rigit body) tersebut disebut Link. Jadi Link adalah komponen terkecil dari mekanisme/mesin yang berfungsi menghasilkan gerak. Sebagai contoh, mekanisme torak-engkol terdiri dari empat komponen kaku (rigit body) yaitu piston, batang penghubung atau connecting rod, engkol, dan blok silinder. Piston bergerak bolak balik, engkol berputar, connecting rod berayun atau gerak campuran antara bolak-balik dan berputar, sedangkan blok silinder fixed atau “diam” tapi secara keseluruhan berfungsi mengubah gerak bolak-balik piston menjadi gerak berputar engkol atau sebaliknya.

5. Jadi Mekanisme itu adalah gabungan beberapa link, masing-masing dapat saling bergerak relative saat salah salah satu dari link tersebut fixed atau “diam”
6. Sebaliknya bila gabungan bebrapa komponen kaku tidak bisa saling bergerak relative sehingga gabungannya juga bersifat kaku, maka gabungan komponen kaku seperti ini disebut “Struktur”

7. Komponen kaku yang membentuk Mekanisme tersebut disebut “LINK” Jenis Link Sebelumnya sudah dijelaskan bahwa komponen terkecil dari mekanisme untuk menghasilkan gerak adalah Link. Ada berbagai jenis link yang dapat disusun menjadi sebuah mekanisme, antara lain :

• Binary Link. Link ini mempunyai dua mata rantai yang bisa dihubungkan dengan link lain. Jadi binary link bisa dihubungkan dengan dua link lain.

• Ternary link. Link ini mempunyai tiga mata rantai , atau ternary link bisa dihubungkan dengan atau memegang tiga link lain.

• Quarternary Link. Link ini mempunyai empat mata rantai, atau dapat dihubungkan atau memegang empat link lain.

• dst…. Joint atau Alat Penyambung Antar Link Untuk menghubungkan antar link, dan untuk menjamin atau memungkinkan terjadinya gerak relative antar link setelah dihubungkan atau disambungkan, maka diperlukan alat Bantu penghubung yang disebut Joint. Ada beberap jenis joint yang digunakan untuk menghubungkan antar link dalam satu mekanisme, yaitu :

A. Penghubung jenis pena, atau pin-joint. Pin joint ini hanya memungkinkan terjadi gerak relative antar link berupa gerak engsel, atau berputar satu arah(sebaliknya) saja antar link yang disambungkan. Dengan kata lain masing masing link hanya mempunyai satu derajat kebebasan bergerak bila dismbungkan menggunakan joint ini.

B. Penghubung jenis silinder atau cylindrical joint. Pada Joint jenis ini terjadi dua jenis gerak relative antar link secara bersamaan yaitu bolak balik dan gerak puntir. Secara bersamaan atau smultan kedua gerkan ini menghasilkan gerak helical. Joint ini mempunyai dua derajat kebebasan.

C. Penghubung Jenis Bola atau Ball Joint. Gerak relative antar link bisa kearah tiga dimensi atau gerak ruang. Maka Joint ini mempunyai dua derajat kebebasan. Termasuk kedalam jenis joint ini adalah Universal atau cross joint PASANGAN RENDAH DAN PASANGAN TINGGI Sambungan atau joint antar link dalam satu mekanisme terdiri dari pasangan dan rendah tinggi. Sambungan disebut pasangan rendah bila kontak antar permukaan pada bagian yang saling bergerak relative berbentuk bidang. Contohnya pin joint dan cylindrical joint . Sedangkan pasangan Tinggi bila kontak antar permukaan berbentuk garis atau titik.
         Contohnya pasangan roda gigi, pasangan cam dan follower. Termasuk pasangan tingggi adalah universal atau cross joint. MEKANISME PLANAR Mekanisme plannar adalah mekanisme dengan gerakan seluruh link dalam mekanisme tersebut hanya pada satu bidang saja.

            MEKANISME SPATIAL Mekanisme spatial adalah mekanisme dengan ada satu atau lebih link yang tidak bergerak pada bidang yang sama, atau bergerak dalam tiga dimensi atau membentuk ruang. MENGGAMBARKAN SKEMA MEKANISME (planar) Komponen Gabungan Komponen Keterangan Ini bukan mekanisme, karena ada mata rantai yang tidak tersambung satu sama lain atau terbuka Ini bukan mekanisme, krn gabungan link tidak bisa saling bergerak relative, ini adalah struktur Ini adalah mekanisme sederhana karena saling dapat bergerak relative bila satu link diantaranya fixed Ini adalah cara penggambaran Mekanisme yang umum dengan tidak perlu menggambarkan link Fixed, cukup diberi arsir menandakan fixed tersebut. Disini Link 1 adalah Fixed. Link 2 adalah Link Input, karena kalau pada Link 2 diberi input gerak maka seluruh link akan saling bergerak relative. Link 4 adalah output dan link 3 adalah penghubung atau connecting rod yang berfungsi menghubungkan input dan output. Input dan output dapat saling bertukar fungsi sebagai output dan input Telihat bahwa bila komponen mekanisme hanya terdiri dari Binary Link, maka mekanisme (Planar) terdiri dari paling sedikit 4 link. Mekanisme seperti ini dikenal dengan Mekanisme 4 batang atau Four Bar Linkage. Dari konsep mekanisme 4 batang ini dapat dibuat berbagai Mekanisme atau Mesin. Jenis mekanisme empat batang ini dapat diklasifikasikan sesuai jenis gerak input dan output yaitu mekanisme enngkol ganda ( double crank mechanism, mekanisme tuas ganda ( Double lever mechgnism), Mekanisme engkol-tuas (Crank lever mechanism) dan mekanisme engkol-torak (crank-slider mechanism). Mekanisme engkol ganda yaitu mekanisme dengan jenis gerakan input dan output sama-sama berputar, mekanisme tuas ganda kedua input dan input sama-sama berayun, dan mekanisme engkol tuas adalah inpurt berputar dan output berayun atau sebaliknya, sedangkan mekanisme engkol-tarak inputnya berputar sementara outputnya meluncur atau sebaliknya Double crank mechanism. Input dan output sama-sama berputar. Contoh penggu-naannya mekanisme lokomotif KA uap Double lever mechanism. Kedua input dan output sama sama berayun. Contoh penggunaannya adalah pada mekanisme setir mobil atau rocker arm Crank lever mechanism sering juga disebut Grashof Mechanisms. Input berputar penuh sedangkan output berayun atau sebaliknya. Contoh nya penghapus air hujan kaca mobil, gerak umpan mesin skrap dll. Crank Slider mechanism. Link 4 yang bergerak sliding atau bolak balik sebetulnya juga Binary Link yang Joint antara link dengan Fixed ink dalam hal ini terletak di tak terhingga, sehingga gerak joint antara connecting rod dan link output adalah gerak lurus. Gerak lurus ini dapat diwakili oleh sebuah piston.

Definisi dinamika

Definisi dinamika atau dalam bahasa Inggrisnya Dynamics adalah ilmu yang mempelajari tentang gerak dan gaya penyebabnya. Ilmu ini diketemukan pertama kali oleh Galileo (1564 – 1642). Menurut Galileo, bila sebuah benda dibiarkan sendiri, maka akan bergerak lurus beraturan dan akan berhenti pada suatu titik. Pernyataan ini dikenal sebagai prinsip Galileo, yang secara kuantitatif dirumuskan oleh Sir Isaac Newton dalam hukumnya yang pertama.

Dinamika mendeskripsikan evolusi waktu dari sistem. Meskipun demikian, konsep dinamika tidaklah dikurung untuk fisika, namun terjadi dalam banyak bidang lain: teknik, kimia, biologi, juga dalam ekologi, ekonomi, dan seterusnya.

Dinamika nonlinier mendeskripsikan evolusi waktu melalui persamaan gerak nonlinier, bisa jadi persamaan diferensial biasa, persamaan diferensial parsial, persamaan diferensial, iterasi pemetaan, dan seterusnya. Persamaan gerak nonlinier mencangkup rentang waktu yang begitu panjang, yakni sejak awal sains.

2. Momen Inersia (I)

Yaitu ukuran kelembaman suatu benda untuk berputar terhadap porosnya. Nilai momen inersia sebuah partikel yang berotasi dapat ditentukan dari hasil kali massa partikel m dengan kuadrat jarak partikel tersebut dari titik pusat rotasi.

Untuk benda tegar yang terdiri dari partikel-partikel yang terpisah satu sama lain dengan massa masing-masing m1, m2, dan m3 dengan jarak dari pusat rotasi masing-masing adalah r1, r2 dan r3, maka nilai momen inersia benda tersebut adalah.

c. Prinsip hukum kekekalan momentum sudut adalah jika tidak ada resultan momen gaya yang bekerja pada sistem benda, maka momentum sudut sistem benda adalah

6. Gerak Menggelinding

Yaitu gerak translasi dan gerak rotasi secara bersamaan.
